Dr. Ian Wilson

Founding member of Rochester Endovascular, PLLC, Dr. Wilson is a board-certified, fellowship-trained vascular/interventional radiologist who advanced the provision of endovascular care and interventional radiology at Highland Hospital from 2007-2016. Dr. Wilson has developed a reputation for high-quality care recognized by patients and families alike. He was integral to bringing the HeRO device to Rochester, which benefits catheter-dependent dialysis patients, and performed the first such procedure in our region with Dr. Theodore Hirokawa at Highland Hospital in 2010. Since 2007, Dr. Wilson has performed the majority of peripheral vascular interventions, dialysis access interventions, and transcatheter embolizations at Highland Hospital. A 1999 graduate of the University of Rochester School of Medicine and Dentistry, Dr. Ian Wilson was the 2014 recipient of the School’s Alumni Achievement Award and a 2016 Alumni inductee to the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society. A native of Brooklyn, NY, Dr. Wilson is active in the Rochester, NY community of his home since 2000. Founder of the internationally-renowned WALL\THERAPY (http://www.wall-therapy.com/) mural project, he serves on the Board of Managers of the Memorial Art Gallery (http://mag.rochester.edu/) and the Little Theatre (https://thelittle.org/)Advisory Board. A staunch advocate of Rochester, Dr. Wilson r esides in the Corn Hill section of town with his wife.
